I still get random quests from notes I find but that's it. I've watched how PC players interact with traders to ask for jobs but can't find any option to speak to traders other than clicking 'Y' which goes straight to looking at their wares.

I'm using the vanilla game and right now I have seven traders on my Skywalker map using random generation. There should be two in the woodland/snowy area border to the north, two in the desert areas to the south west, one in a wasteland area further south west next to a city, one in the wooded area to the center east south of a football field, and one in the burnout zone in the south east next ...15 days in, just booted up. Rekt's doors are locked during business hours and are able to be destroyed, so I did. One thing I noticed is the usual trader music isn't playing, just silence. Broke through Rekt's gate and through the door to hand in my trader supplies and start a new mission, only buried treasure are available for all tiers.

For example, you do quests for Trader Bob in one town and unlock Tier 2. You then go to next town / trader and find a Trader Rekt. He will only give you Tier 1 quests because you haven't unlocked ...
