Nov 12, 2022 · Hello fellow NMS Community, i came back to the Game a few Weeks ago with the last Major Update 4.0. As far as i remember you could get a emergency broadcast receiver, i think once a week, from good old Iteration Helios in the flying ball of glory (Known as The Anomaly). I started a completely new Save with Custom Difficulty but dont seem to get my emergency broadcast receiver from Helios anymore.

I have to believe this is a bug. Or they have purposely gutted the ship salvaging lifestyle, so you only can find one or two in any given star system. If this occurs (the anomaly sphere at a crash site), you can leverage another "bug-like" feature if you drop a signal scanner and detect "Nearby Structures." It will detect another crash site.

I have no void egg, have tried quitting etc and still not working. For anyone else having this issue. The solution seems to be to just sit in space and wait after you have received the signal and exited pulse. - it spawned for me after sitting in space for like 20s, even though the quest tip told me to re-enter pulse.
