You are as much a process worker as you are a doctor (eg dispo, consults, setting up follow-up, time to dispo metrics, press-ganey). 95% of patients you see don't need to be seen by you.

I honestly think even med school interviews being remote is fine in comparison, but residency is a whole other game. The culture just matters so much more. That being said, it cost a TON in time and money. We need to bring it back in some shape or form with more available AAMC sponsored scholarships for those who can’t afford it.
