Jan 24, 2014 · We had 1780 12/23 that we used for beans only for quite a while and it did a fine job, for the money that they are asking for them I think it would be a good move for a bean only planter. We traded our 1780 and a 16 row 1770 recently for a 1790 16-31. I think they are asking somewhere between 25 and 30 for the 1780. I have a 1780 16/31 john deere planter I cannot get the monitor to work all the time. Sometimes it will work very well and then again it will not work at all.
